Hype Sublimation Prints
2018
Design / Marketing
I was commissioned to design a series of bold, expressive sublimation prints for an exclusive kidswear collection for Next. The project required a blend of creativity and technical precision, as I developed unique, eye-catching patterns that would appeal to the brand's young audience.
The process involved extensive sampling to refine each design, followed by meticulous colour grading to ensure the prints achieved optimal vibrancy and consistency when translated onto fabric. Working closely with the production team, I ensured that every design was both visually striking and commercially viable.
Inspired by the rebellious, high-octane energy of the 90’s rave scene—specifically the iconic Haçienda and FAC51 clubs—the design was rooted in bold geometric patterns and a striking, contrasting color palette. Drawing on the raw energy and cultural significance of the rave era, I sought to create a visual identity that felt both nostalgic and contemporary, appealing to the current generation of club-goers while paying homage to the roots of underground dance culture.
The logo and logotype were crafted to feel dynamic and bold, easily adaptable across various mediums—from social media banners and event flyers to large-scale posters. The use of geometric shapes and stark color contrasts helped establish a sense of movement and excitement, directly reflecting the pulsating energy of a night out at Output.
